MyHooman provides an all-in-one shelter management system that streamlines animal care and boosts adoption success. As shelters onboard new animals, the information they enter automatically creates rich adoption profiles, saving time and increasing each animal’s chance of finding the right home. Designed to reduce administrative load and meet the unique needs of different animals, MyHooman helps shelter teams focus on what matters most: quality care and successful adoptions.
Role: UX lead, performance analysis, UX optimisation on key flows, user flows and wireframes for specific animal types, user research, user testing, ways of working, IA optimisations, design system cadence, mentorship
Impacts: Over 50% of animal shelters in New Zealand have signed up to My Hooman. 37% of visitors to the site matched with potential animals. The adoption return rate has dropped from 16% to >1%.
