The Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (MDF) is the national body that provide resources and help for people living with neuromuscular conditions (NMCs). For many, receiving a diagnosis is overwhelming, with available information often being dense and full of medical jargon, which can leave people feeling isolated and unsupported. The task was to co-design a platform that delivers practical, empathetic, and easily accessible information to those living with NMCs.

The Loop is an online platform that fosters community and offers valuable information for those living with and caring for someone with NMCs. The platform connects those living with and caring for someone with NMCs, fostering community through shared experiences. It offers empathetic medical content and reliable, customisable information that can be used to communicate care needs.

• Customisable Condition Guides: Tailorable guides provide clear, plainspoken medical content and allow users to add personal notes. These guides can be downloaded and shared with others, such as healthcare providers, educators, or employers, to improve understanding and support.
